The projects in line with our Goals are: MOM Scholarship, Business Skills Training, Back to School Initiative and Youth Entrepreneurship Development Program (YEDPM).
2023 Projects
For the year 2023, the project was MOMF Scholarship Scheme and Secondary school Inter-house sport support initiative. The selected Class was JSS 2 students at the six Government school in Abavo, Ika South LGA, Delta State.
MOMF Scholarship Scheme
The foundation gave scholarship to the best five students of JSS2 in Abavo. MOMF was able to select the five best students in JSS2 at each school through the help of Ministry of Education, Asaba, through their promotion result from JSS1 to JSS2. The Foundation conducted examination for the thirty (30) student and five best was given a scholarship. Also. We awarded Scholarship to the best student from Private secondary schools at Abavo.
MOMF scholarship covers School fees (one session), School bag, notebooks and text book.
The Foundation organized a scholarship award day, where the result was announced and the scholarship was given to the qualified five students.
Proposed Project for 2024
MOMF Foundation plan to execute the following project this year: Scholarship award to 50 Abavo students in JSS1 to SS3 Football competition for the Secondary Schools at Abavo Free WAEC/NECO Enrolment for fifty (100) SS3 students within Ika. Distribution of food materials to over 1000 elderly person within Ika land, purchase a solar light for 20 less privileged ones at rural areas at Ika land.
